I live Los Angeles, CA and its 29.7 miles away from where the signal transmission comes from and my signal here is excellent. The bar is at about 90%. I get all the locals plus all of their sub stations. I also get a bunch of other channels, Spanish for my mom and bunch of other that I don’t watch. Real easy setup and it seems very durable. I just removed the old Direct tv dish that was on the roof and attached this right to the pole, it came with all the right hardware to do so. Its a two story apt and the cable is about 40 feet long with a regular splitter inside the house to share the signal with my moms room. I’m very satisfied and I get a lot of compliments on the reception but I did not buy it here. Hope this helps and good luck.
Happy customer –
My house is located at 13 miles north from Chicago TX stations in downtown.
Several big trees are blocking the line of sight from the right front of my antenna on chimney.
At first,I tried with an indoor antenna due to its small size, but it gave me frequent dropping signals out on most channels I could get and no VHF high channels(CH2,CH7).
Therefore, I chose this antenna(AT-400BV) which has strong signal and gain on UHF and high VHF channels. This antenna works perfectly for me. I’m very happy.

I am 65 miles from the transmitters; the antenna is hanging in my attic facing in the general direction of the transmitters and I am getting great reception.

Set this up for my parents so they can receive over the air HD channels and it works great. Mounted on attic and it picks up every available local channel in the area that indoor powered antennas had problems with. I set it up to go to two separate rooms and no problems with signal loss.

This 65 miles range antenna was enough to receive all my local channels. It comes already assembled. You only have to install it in the pole(which comes separate) and I bought it for 10 dollars in a local store. At the beginning I could not get some channels but the problem was in the digital box which was a cheap one and I replaced it with a Zenith, then I had all This 65 miles range antenna was enough to receive all my local channels. It comes already assembled. You only have to install it in the pole(which comes separate) and I bought it for 10 dollars in a local store. At the beginning I could not get some channels but the problem was in the digital box which was a cheap one and I replaced it with a Zenith, then I had all channels on the screen with a clear image with no interference. If you live in a difficult access area you will need a 90 miles range or maybe more powerful antenna, even though it worth knowing you are throwing your Cable Billi in the garbage. Most of the Cable Channels are useless, but if you prefer to keep on ripping off your pocket for a couple of channels, go ahead!I personally don’t spend too much time watching TV, its a waste of time.

The product arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble. I’m 73 and put it up myself so it must be easy. Took a guess at pointing and it scanned over 90 channels in Los Angeles but after using my compass to adjust direction it scanned 126 digital stations. So much to choose from I will be cancelling Dish Network.

I recently upgraded my outdoor OTA antenna as I was getting low signals with certain channels. I am 59 miles from the broadcast location (for almost all channels according to online info) and do no have a great line of sight. I was getting 34-44 signal strength before I upgraded to the AT-400BV. After I upgraded, and pointed as closely as possible to the broadcast location (was not able to point exactly where it needs to be), my signals went up greatly. I now get 53-74 for a signal and all the channels are perfectly clear HD. A great antenna. It is light, so I was able to mount it on the side of my house, rather than the roof. Would recommend someone research how they plan to mount it as it may require additional equipment. I already had an antenna pole on the side of my house, so was able to simple adjust the mount and put this antenna on (even with its large size).

I didn’t buy this antenna through spectrum but wish I would have price wise but do want anybody that is looking at this antenna to know how great it works. I live in Northern Wisconsin, we are fairly hilly and lots of trees so I mounted this antenna on a lightpole about 20′ off the ground and am able to pull in channels from Wausau (60 Miles) crystal clear and Phillips (45 mile the opposite direction) crystal clear. ANTOP signalmaps figured we would get 7 channels but we ended up with a total of 18 with 5 of them being Hi-Def. All in all thoroughly impressed with this antenna and would highly recommend it.

All the positive reviews are correct. It’s in my living room now, but will be on my roof this autumn. Great reception. Save money. Get it!

I was looking for an indoor antenna that could help me receive a lot of TV channels, so I could discontinue
paying for cable, considering I am on a fixed income. Another consideration was I live in Florida, and If I could
find an indoor antenna, not like the one I bought at Best Buy, that would really work, I would not have to worry
about my antenna being destroyed during a Hurricane. I found Spectrum Antenna and bought the Big Boy
Antenna. I put it in my attic and pointed it towards the Air TV stations in Tampa about 25 miles. It works great
and I receive 46 channels that are crystal clear without buffering. I have a booster Box in my attic and have
7 TV’s running off the One Big Boy Antenna. What a great find.
